Fortis College is the first to bring variety to this list. They are a college that offers programs in the Skilled Trades, Nursing, Commercial Driving, Dentistry, Beauty and Wellness, and Healthcare fields. All of which have at least 2 – 8 programs.

Though being one of the relatively new community colleges in Utah, they have made a great impact on the student population. Educating them in a relatively large number of fields, and courses particularly on a community college scale. Many of which can be complete within 2 years. While also having a graduation rate of 63%, which many veteran community colleges have not achieved.

Dental assistants perform a wide variety of patient care, office, and laboratory duties at the dental office. They assist the dentist at chair-side, sterilize and disinfect instruments, obtain and update dental records and instruct patients on general and post-operative oral healthcare.

Dental hygienists are licensed oral healthcare professionals and respected members of the dental team who provide preventative, educational, and therapeutic services. The work of dental hygienists supports the total health of a patient for the control of oral disease and promotion of oral health.
