PATIENT CARE PROGRAMS

By definition, Concorde’s Patient care programs provide support to the health care industry as a whole, but some of those programs, like Surgical Technologist, are on the front lines of medicine. Patient care services can be classified into three categories – diagnostic, therapeutic and custodial. DENTAL PROGRAMS

Everybody loves a smile. Really, when you meet someone for the first time, what’s the first thing you notice? A big, beautiful smile filled with perfect, pearly-white teeth can go a long way in a first impression. At Concorde, your dreams of a career in dental care can be converted into life-changing work in a short period of time. Concorde is committed to preparing students to offer the highest level of dental care in as few as eight months. Same as on-the-job training The coursework in Concorde’s dental assistant and dental hygiene programs emphasize the clinical aspects of serving in a dental office and providing top-quality dental care and hygiene. You are immersed in the practical aspects of providing dental patient care in a hands-on environment that includes working on actual patients in on-campus dental laboratories equipped with the latest technologies. ALLIED HEALTH PROGRAMS

Allied health professions are health care professions distinct from nursing, medicine, and pharmacy. One source reported allied health professionals to make up 60 percent of the total U.S. health care workforce.* They work in health care teams to make the health care system function by providing a range of diagnostic, technical, therapeutic and direct patient care and support services that are critical to the other health professionals they work with and the patients they serve. Wide range of careers from which to choose Concorde offers seven very different and distinct allied health career paths from which to choose – Health Information Management, Medical Assistant, Medical Laboratory Technician, Medical Office Administration, Medical Office Professional, Pharmacy Technician and Health Care Administration. Health Care Administration, in our newest program and is offered as a Bachelor of Science degree as an extension program for recipients of our Associate’s Degree. It is offered as a 100 percent online program.
