Virtual Environments

My Virtual Tutor has multiple virtual environments to support different learning outcomes and scenarios. The tutor can engage with the learners in larger groups, small groups and 1on1 when required.

Tutors can record the sessions in a safe learning environment, the recordings can be automatically uploaded to the learner’s portfolio.

Our History

Olive Group was established in 2006 as a result of our experience as a business in the oil and gas sector: safety was a priority for many organisations like ours but compliance and legislation were becoming an expensive headache. This mismatch led founder, Brendan Kavanagh, to create a new cost-effective health and safety model that offered a more flexible approach to training.

The concept proved successful and led to further thoughts on how could Olive bring even more cost-savings and improvements to training. What about online, mobile and virtual training? From this, Olive Group was born. Olive Group rolls out new online training platform

Irish-founded educational technology group Olive has launched a new online training platform that it expects will add an extra €8 million to company revenues by year-end 2022.
The company, founded by entrepreneur Brendan Kavanagh in 2006, has invested €5 million in My Virtual Tutor, which allows for remote staff learning, upskilling and regulatory compliance.

However, sometimes you can’t be so modest. So below we’ve listed our most recent achievements. But of course (and here’s the humility) these awards are really about our clients; after all they’re ones that trust us to roll-out these creative programmes across their organisations.

Awards

Too often we find companies going to great lengths to stress “we don’t care about awards”.  But we don’t believe it. Who doesn’t love awards? Are we good at what we do? We like to think we are – but our own affirmation isn’t really enough when striving to be the best in class.  Winning awards is ace because it proves to us that what we are doing is right. It’s not hard to prove why.

Awards are like the currency of our industry. We want to be the best because we want to work with the best clients and give them the best solutions. We need to work hard, to win the awards so the best clients gravitate towards us to be given a service which wins more awards, attracting even better clients.

Winning awards also improves morale, they give us a sense of where we are on the trajectory and where we need to be. They also give us a sense that what we are doing is right and to keep moving in that direction.
